We have various temporary employment agencies we work with regularly when hiring flexible workers. We only work with certified temporary employment agencies. .
In addition, Growers United actively looks after the interests of the food horticulture sector in the labour market by taking part in the Labour working group of the LTO Glaskracht trade association for the agricultural and horticultural industries.
How we tackle this
A central pillar of our human resources policy focuses on four factors – Healthy, Happy, Motivated and Well-trained. Below is an example about healthy workers.
In North Holland province, brothers Arnaud en Tim van Dijk head up the family business, VD Holland. Arnaud and Tim are committed to investing in long-term contracts with their workers. That is why they built an apartment complex on VD Holland’s land, which has completed in the summer of 2022. It provides housing for 60 workers. Arnaud and Tim also help temporary workers in the Netherlands with buying or renting a home. By doing this, they offer their workers good prospects.
