Good food for everyone
At Growers United, we work together on sustainability. We call it: sustainable together. For us, it means reducing the environmental impact of growing and packing our vegetables. But it also means improving the health and wellbeing of our consumers and our staff.
And we will be raising the bar even higher in the years ahead. Our ambition for 2040 is 100% circular, fair and healthy: this is our speck on the horizon. In 2019, we determined where we are and where we want to go. It was all very specific, and we continuously measure where we stand, for example with the help of the HortiFootPrint. In the summer of 2022, we hope to complete a pilot with eight growers, following which this internationally-recognised measurement method will be rolled out for all growers.
