Growers association SweetPoint has decided to start cultivating Tatayoyo, the latest innovation from Rijk Zwaan. At their location in Honselersdijk, the slightly larger snack peppers are being grown. Tatayoyo stands out with its bold flavor, intense sweetness, and rich aroma. This snack pepper offers a completely new taste experience and is a very welcome addition to the pepper category.
Michel Zuijderwijk, grower at SweetPoint, shares his excitement:
“This snack pepper is really something special. It’s very sweet and has a firm bite. We’re curious about consumer reactions and hope to scale up further next year.”
The harvest is now in full swing, and the snack peppers are making their way to consumers in attractive packaging.
About SweetPoint

The growers’ focus on quality, sustainability, and product availability has resulted in a broad range of pointed peppers that meet the needs of the market.
About Tatayoyo
The Tatayoyo snack pepper is one of the latest innovations in SweetPoint’s assortment. In collaboration with breeder Rijk Zwaan, SweetPoint growers have tested and cultivated this new variety.
